Just invented word: to essault

Feeling overwhelmed by the contents of my various inboxes, I was inspired to invent a new word.

to essault (iːsɒlt), vb (tr) = to attack by electronic communication (either by quantity or by content)

Example of use:  “She sent me hundreds of emails and text messages (SMSs) a day.  I felt essaulted.”

What do you think?
