I am irritated by the presentation of the referendum on Scottish independence as a choice between the status quo (stability) and change. In fact, staying in the neoliberal UK means ongoing change for the worse. Inspired by my attendance of the Radical Independence Conference 2013, at which a compelling alternative version of a progressive Scotland was presented, complete with balance sheet (thanks to Raphie/Rafi de Santos, who demonstrated that we can easily afford a fairer society, with job security and wellbeing for all), I made the above, with the assistance of Eddie Gibbons.
