Major setback, but life goes on!

update February 2013. Disruptive was updated and republished as Please Believe Me in February 2013!

[UPDATE August 2009.  I shall be publishing the book myself, under the title Disruptive, on 30 November.  Please visit the Synchrony Books website for further information.]

Angela Bailey and myself have just received an email from John Blake Publishers, telling us that their lawyers have advised that Please Don’t Hurt Me needs re-writing to further disguise the identities of Angela’s abusers.  Consequently the book will not be published in April, and the launch events are cancelled.

Naturally this is a great disappointment, but we didn’t get this far without overcoming many setbacks!  Life goes on.

Best wishes

    Hi Eric,

good to hear and see you! it’s been awhile… shock to see you with fiddle and not bodhran!

I do hope there’s no more setbacks with book, and next project sounds intriguing!

Am very busy on the storytelling front, but looking to try and publish a story locally soon…we’ll see!

You are a man of perseverence and a great encouragement!

    take care,

    Thanks very much, Grace!

How’s life in the Granite City? Still singing? Good to hear you are writing. Would be interested to hear how that project goes! If you have had anything published, or have an offer to publish, you can join the Society of Authors, which I highly recommend!

    Warmest wishes
